For the past couple days I've been semi itchy in my vagina area. today has been the worst. I have no other symptoms, just kind of itchy and weird feeling. I shave so maybe that's it? it's never been this bad before though

I've had a yeast infection! I did the monistat which is supposely the #1 best choice for treating yeast infection, i did it monday night and tuesday and wednesday all the bad stuff were cOming down! I think the infection is gone because i dont have that weird discharge anymore but Oh My Goddd i cannot handle how itchy my vagina is, ive tried everything i did that little cream the moinstat bring i tried some other stuff for when your irritated down there and i also tried that diper rash lotion. I feel like crying its really bothering me and i cant help but scrash myself because it itches so much and it just seems for everytime to get worst! I really wish you guys can help and if this happened to any of you guys how long will it take for it to stop itching?

So I got a yeast infection last Friday. It started with thick, cottage cheese discharge. Then the itchiness started on Sunday night. I bought a treatment today, but it seems to be gone? No more itchiness, redness, discomfort when peeing, or thick discharge. Did it go away? Should I still use the treatment? Last night while I was on the treadmill I got the most discharge of my life. Lots of cottage cheesy stuff. I was still itchy last night too. But today it was all gone. So... Treatment or not? So confused.

Im 22 weeks pregnant and I went to the dr because i was having white discharge and tenderness but no itchiness. The test result came back positivefor yeast infection so the dr told me to use monistat 1. I took it about a week after the symptoms appeared (because that how long it took to get results) and the tenderness is completely gone but i'm still having light discharge. Is it okay to take monostat 1 again? To make sure the infection is gone?

okay so this is my first time ever having a yeast infection. i'm 20 and i think i got it because two weeks ago i was on antibiotics for about ten days. in addition to that, i'm on birth control (i've never gotten yeast infections on birth control before, but i'm assuming that the mixture of antibiotics and estrogen caused this). so i first noticed the cottage cheesy, thick discharge on friday. i realized that it was much thicker than my usual discharge, but i didnt give it much thought. then on sunday night (2 days after) the itchyness began. i thought it was my pubic hair growing or something that was making me itchy, but the itchyness was inside my labia majora (in the pink part) and it was pretty red. no swelling, though. AND i sorta felt discomfort when i urinated (not pain, but just an uncomfortable feeling). and monday morning was when it hit me that i had a yeast infection, since i was still itchy when i woke up. now i'm so unbelievably uncomfortable. :( today it seemed as though it was starting to fade and i was really hopeful that it was probably ending on its own. the itchyness was minimal and i did not have much, if any, discharge during the day. however, while i was on the treadmill tonight, i felt stuff coming out of me. i quickly went to the bathroom and found the most amount of discharge i've ever seen. thick and curd-like. :( does this mean its revving up stronger? or that it is letting it all out and will end soon? its late tonight, but i'm going to buy a treatment tomorrow. until then, i'll be worried sick. :( if you know about this stuff, please help me out? which treatment should i buy? a one day/ three day/seven day? and how long does it usually take to go away after beginning treatment? will the treatment even surely work? this is so sucky. :(

During my yeast infection, I was wearing panty liners for the most part. I washed the underwear as usual on medium with detergent and dried them on medium. I know this may sound dumb, but I like my undies and I don't want to have to throw them away. But I also don't want to risk re-infecting myself.

I've been doing research about what this vaginal issue I have might be, and I think it's a yeast infection. I've got white discharge coming out and it's often itchy and swollen around the vaginal area. It's smells really disgusting down there too :/ However, it doesn't burn when I pee, and my menstrual cycle has been a bit odd lately. I'm only young so I expect it to miss out and be late a lot, but I haven't had my period for 3 or 4 months. I'm not sexually active either. Thanks!

Is it safe to use yeast infection cream?

I have gotten an oral yeast infection from amoxicillian because I got my wisdom tooth taken out. Is there a way I can get rid of it through home remedies instead of getting meds for it? I don't want to try another meds prescription for the infection because meds gave it to me and I wouldn't want to get anything else from the meds they will give me. (don't trust them anymore) Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. P.S. I have heard either garlic or yogurt helps, but not sure if that's true or not.

Hello, I'm 18 years old, well 3 days ago I bought a douch because I was ovulating a lot I used it for two days but since the first day I used it I felt the inside and outside of my vagina very dry and it started itching, the day after I started getting a lot of a yellowish discharge with no odor the lips of my vagina are swollen and irritated it burns really bad and I'm still having that yellow discharge it still has no smells but is very uncomfortable. I called my doctor but they gave me an appointment for next week! Can you guys help me telling me what I can try doing since then? Any antibiotics or anything that can help me cure this any faster! I'm not sexualy active yet, so my boyfriend just gives me oral sex. We've been doing this for like a month & he dose it almost every night (except for when I have my period) recently I got a yeast infection & it was my first one. I just finished the 7 day treatment yesterday & I don't have anymore symptoms. Is it ok to let him give me oral again even tho it just went away or will it come back??

I am 40 weeks pregnant and I definitely have not been sleeping around. Yesterday I experienced itching in my genital area and I did not think too much of it. It was the first hot day of the year and I thought could be from sweat, as my skin is more sensitive when I am pregnant. My husband and I had sex last night and he woke up with itchy genitalia and now he is saying I gave him STD, since I started itching first. I was tested for all STDs before and during pregnancy and only had unprotected sex with my husband. I know pregnant women get yeast infections (I have never had one before and I will go in to get tested today). Could yeast infection make my husband itchy if he did not shower after sex? I know I have not done anything wrong, but just that he is thinking that I did makes me really upset. :-(

Hello, I really don't know what to do anymore. I think I've had a yeast infection for a while now, and it just will not go away. My never ending symptoms include, lots and lots of very watery discharge to very think white discharge (sometimes odorless), and a very irritated inner labia minora which goes from burning to itching. I have been taking AZO yeast medicine for almost a month now, with little to no improvement. I don't use any soaps down there, only water, I'm only 17 and have never had sex, use unscented tampons and bathe twice a day. I really have no idea why this is happening and it will not stop. Hi I'm a 16yr old girl and I have a yeast infection, it is too late in the day to go get.some cream for it so what can I do until tomorrow morning? The itching is driving me crazy!! D: i have tried the whole garlic clove thing and I don't have any yogurt. :/ Also, I have had about 5 infections in the last 6 or so months (this time round its right before my period should come though) any ideas why? I will go to the doctors soon about it but just for somewhat of an idea. Thanks :)

Is it normal to have a yeast infection before my period? It's never happened before but this month my period symptoms is out of control. I had every single thing in the book on pms symptoms, but they all went away. Now I'm sitting with a very irritating yeast infection, but no freaken period...and I'm 4 days late? Any advice on whether this is normal? I have regular periods, every 45 days. I use gynea recommended wash down there. Is it possible for an infection to be caused by vaginal dryness or waxing?
